Hydrating Rose Toner is a natural face toner based on Damask rose hydrosol, enriched with betaine. Created to hydrate, soothe and refresh the skin and prepare it for the next steps of your skincare routine.

The basis of the formula is a high-quality hydrosol of Damask rose from the Bulgarian Rose Valley. Its delicate aroma doesn't come from a fragrance composition — it's the natural, fresh and subtle scent of real rose.

Betaine supports hydration and helps reduce the feeling of dryness and tightness, while radish root ferment helps protect the product's water-based formula.

The toner can be used in the morning and evening after cleansing, before a cream, serum or oil. It also works great as a refreshing mist during the day, to finish your make-up and for hair care.

Every ingredient has its role

Damask rose hydrosol

Obtained during the distillation of Damask rose, the hydrosol is an aromatic plant water containing naturally occurring compounds derived from the rose.

It helps refresh, soothe and care for the skin, leaving it soft and comfortable. Its natural scent is fresh, delicate and subtly rosy.

For centuries the Damask rose has held a special place in traditional skincare rituals, and the Bulgarian Rose Valley is one of the most renowned regions for its cultivation and distillation.

Betaine

An ingredient with hydrating properties that helps bind water and limit its loss from the epidermis. It supports skin comfort, especially for dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin, leaving it soft and smooth.

Radish root ferment

Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate is an ingredient obtained through a fermentation process. In the toner's formula it primarily helps protect the product from the growth of microorganisms and keeps the minimalist character of the recipe.

How to use?

Spray the toner directly onto the cleansed skin of the face, neck and décolletage.

While the skin is still slightly damp, apply a serum, cream, balm or oil. It works especially well before applying TALÈ waterless creams.

During the day, spray it on your face whenever your skin needs refreshing and an extra dose of comfort.

After applying make-up, spray a delicate mist from a short distance to give it a fresher, more natural finish.

You can also spray the toner on your hair.

From the founder

I tested a great many rose waters and hydrosols. I was looking for one that would be real, pure and free of unnecessary additives.

Only the hydrosol of Damask rose from the Bulgarian Rose Valley was exactly what I was looking for. No added preservative, but with a wonderful, natural scent. Not sweet and perfumey, but fresh, subtle and truly rosy.

It was almost twice as expensive as the others I tested. But when I smelled it and used it for the first time, I knew this was the one I wanted for TALÈ. I didn't want to look for a cheaper substitute.

I also used natural betaine to boost the toner's hydrating properties. And because I choose solutions of natural origin whenever possible, I chose radish root ferment to protect the formula.

And that's how Hydrating Rose Toner was born.

It's one of those TALÈ products I can no longer imagine my skincare without. I use it under all my creams, spray it on my face during the day, use it as a final mist after applying make-up, and on my hair too.

I wouldn't swap it for any other.

It's my absolute favourite in the first step of skincare — first the rose mist and hydration, then the cream.
